Aug 16, 2017·That didn't make a difference. Turning the AC/heat blower motor up to a higher speed sometimes makes the sound stop. It does it with the fan on or off. I've had passengers try putting their hands around door panels, glove compartment door and even the underside but nobody can find it. I took a video but it's hard to hear.
Dec 29, 2017·A few minutes later I smelled burning wires. Pin pointed it to under the glove box. Remove skirting to find wiring harness between blower resistor and blower motor melted. I have dual zone manual climate control with auto temp.. i replaced Blower motor over a year ago and have no issues with it working set aside from the hot wires.

The blower motor resistor is located behind the glove box assembly. You will need to remove the glove box assembly and then you will see the resistor. It will have one connector with four or five wires and will be held to the HVAC unit with 2 screws.

Feb 21, 2019·Turned out to be a bad bearing in the fan blower motor for the heat and A/C. Perhaps have this inspected also. Just a suggestion.... Haggis777, Jan 6, 2019 #5. ...
